The methodology used in the design of protective enclosures has been approved by PJSC “ROSSETI” JSC “Russian Railways” the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the State Expert Commission of the Moscow Region, and the General State Expert Review Department (Glavgosexpertiza of Russia).

This section presents facilities where PES (protective enclosing structures) developed by SZ “PROSPECT” provide infrastructure protection against threats associated with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles.

PES “Road of Life”

The PES (protective enclosing structures) "Road of Life" is a modular solution for rapid passive protection against drones on transportation routes in combat zones.

Assembling a standard 1,000-meter module takes up to two hours and is done manually without specialized equipment, making the system effective for the rapid technical reinforcement of road sections. The design is intended to intercept and neutralize small FPV and UAVs. The anti-drone nets used meet the requirements for PES specified in SP 542. The solution provides rapid anti-drone protection for supply routes, minimizing risks to personnel and equipment.

PES for an LNG plant

PES (protective enclosing structures) for liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants is a comprehensive engineering solution designed to provide anti-drone protection for industrial facilities. The system provides Level 2−4 protection in accordance with the requirements of SP 542. Design work is carried out with due consideration for the plant’s operational processes, and the standard design period is up to 3 months.

Installation of protective enclosures (PES) takes 3−5 months and is synchronized with the maintenance windows provided by the Customer. The system provides passive protection against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned aircraft (UAVs), preventing potential damage to energy sector equipment and infrastructure in the event of a collision with a UAV. The solution is suitable for the technical re-equipment and modernization of facilities without interrupting main production.

PES (protective enclosing structures) for Gas stations and Horizontal steel tanks

The standard SZ "PROSPECT" solution for protecting gas stations and horizontal steel storage tanks (HSTs) provides protection levels 2−4 in accordance with the requirements of SP 542. The design incorporates "Darwin" anti-drone nets, creating effective passive protection against UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles).

Design time is 1 month, installation takes approximately 1.5 months. The solution is used for the technical modernization of fuel and energy complex facilities, preventing drone attacks on tank farms and gas station infrastructure.

PES for gas regulation stations

The PES (protective enclosing structures) system for gas regulation stations (GRS) is a standard solution from SZ "PROSPECT" designed to provide passive protection against UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). The design complies with protection levels 2−4 as per SP 542 requirements and is designed to withstand atmospheric precipitation and impacts from any currently used UAV.

Design time: 1 month; installation: 1.5 months. The solution is used for the technical modernization of facilities in the fuel and energy complex, providing reliable anti-drone protection for gas distribution stations.

PES “Aircraft shelter”

PES (protective enclosing structures) "Aircraft Shelter" is a comprehensive engineering solution developed by SZ "PROSPECT" for passive protection against UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). The structure serves as a shelter and consists of a load-bearing frame covered with anti-drone netting. Fully compliant with SP 542.

PES can be stationary or mobile, depending on the facility’s requirements and the convenience of parking and sheltering the aircraft. Estimated assembly time is 20 hours. Sheltering an aircraft using the mobile version of the PES takes no more than 2.5 minutes. If necessary, the structure can be equipped with armor plates (armor mats) to increase the level of protection. The solution is designed for the technical modernization and security of aviation infrastructure facilities.

PES for VST (Vertical Steel Tank)

PES (protective enclosing structures) for vertical steel tanks (VSTs) is a standard engineering solution from SZ "PROSPECT" for VSTs of any capacity. It is designed to provide passive protection against UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles).

The design provides a protection level of 2−4 in accordance with SP 542 requirements and includes reinforced anti-drone nets as part of the PES modules.
The design phase takes approximately 2.5 months, and installation takes 3−5 months, depending on the construction windows provided by the Customer.

The solution is used for the technical modernization and protection of fuel and energy complex facilities, preventing damage to tanks and equipment in the event of potential attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles.

PES for general education schools

PES (protective enclosing structures) for general education schools—a project by SZ "PROSPECT" designed to enhance the level of protection for educational institutions and their grounds along the front line. The structure provides protection levels 2−4 in accordance with SP 542 and creates a robust protective perimeter.

Design time is 3 months, installation takes approximately 3 months.

PES is installed taking into account the specific layout of the site and utility systems. The solution is used during the technical modernization and reconstruction of critical infrastructure facilities, reducing the risks and dangers posed by unmanned aerial vehicles.

PES for the transformer unit

PES (protective enclosing structures) for transformer unit — a solution from SZ "PROSPECT" designed to protect critical infrastructure assets. The design provides a Level 2−4 protection rating, creating a reliable barrier against external threats, including attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The PES is constructed from steel modules with integrated anti-drone nets, which helps reduce the risk of equipment damage. According to accumulated statistics, 92% of UAV warheads that come into contact with the "Darwin" protective capture nets do not detonate.

Design takes 1 month, and installation takes about 1 month.

The system can be used during the technical refurbishment and modernization of substations.

PES for freestanding VSTs (Vertical Steel Tanks)

The PES (protective enclosing structures) system for freestanding vertical steel tanks (VSTs) is a standard solution from the SZ "PROSPECT" design bureau, used in the technical retrofitting of fuel storage facilities. The design provides 2−4 levels of protection in accordance with SP 542 and is designed for tanks with capacities of 250, 1000, 3000, 5000, 10 000, 20 000, 30 000, and 50 000 m³.

The PES forms a robust passive protection perimeter, preventing unmanned aerial vehicles from impacting the tank walls and equipment.

Design takes 1 month, and installation takes about 1 month, taking into account the maintenance windows provided by the Customer. This solution is ideal for protecting freestanding fuel tanks and facilities within the fuel and energy complex.

PES for civil engineering projects

PES (protective enclosing structures) for civil engineering projects — a solution from SZ "PROSPECT" designed for use in existing buildings and structures. The system is used in residential buildings, dormitories, hospitals, and other civil engineering projects where a protective perimeter is required.

PES provides Level 2−4 protection in accordance with SP 542 and forms a passive anti-drone defense system.

The design phase takes approximately 2 months, and installation takes up to 2 months.

This solution is used as part of technical upgrades and measures to protect critical infrastructure facilities in the civilian sector.

PES for container-type structures

PES (protective enclosing structures) for container-type facilities is a standard solution from SZ "PROSPECT" designed for the rapid deployment of protective systems at modular and temporary accommodation sites.

The design provides protection levels 2−4 and complies with the requirements of SP 542.

Thanks to its modular design, the PES can be installed in two weeks and does not require heavy machinery.
